Joe came out and Installed a flat panel display over the fireplace and ran all the wires behind the wall. He also mounted the speakers on the wall and ran the wires for those. Tuned the system and it sound much better than it had before. My job was not easy I am sure but he gave us a fair price and incredible service.

    We give Joe an A+++++

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Flat panels mounted on the wall, Custom theaters, Speqqakers through out the house and One controller for the whole system

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Dont be fooled by the lowest bid. It will cost more than they tell you.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. It is simple math, $75.00 per hour is very resonable, most companies that have a website and a store front charge between $100.00 per hour per man. Someone that is an electrician or has there own flat panel or surround system doesnt necessarally have the ability to complete the project and make you happy. Many companies quote a lower price and then come in and add and add til you will wish you would have gone with the guy who was honest and told you it would be more because he looked at the job and qouted it properly. Dont be fooled!!

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. There is a difference in products, they can also be calibrated to look or sound better. If you are buying a flat panel display in a big box store look at the display long enough to see a scene that moves sideway or diagonal. That is where the new displays fail miserably. For some people it is unbearable. One you have bought it and I have mounted it is alot harder to want to return it.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have 20 + years in the industry designing and implamenting High end custom home theaters and automation systems. An impeccable attention to detail, and an understanding of integration in todays market place.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The smile on a client face when they turn the sytem on and it is way beyound what they expected. Getting refferals from a client because you have under promissed and over delivered.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Why did the company come out and install my flat panel display over the fireplace, include the bracket and wire and leave the cables outside the wall?

Answer: Because they do not understand how the house was build and they dont feel comfortable running the wires. The math just doesnt work to provide a quality mount for your display at $100.00, a quality HDMI Cable for $100.00 and mount the Display for free.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. When I started in this industry in 1989 I sold a client a VCR, they got it home and could not figure out how set the timer recording. I went out to there home and spent an hour on a product that I made $7.23 selling. That customer has spent more than $300,000. with me to date and has become a close personal freind. Customers are for life if you take care of them.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. We are not all incompident, some of us have done this for lots of years and have spent our lived studying and training to keep on top of the changes.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Seasonal work for christmas and fell in love with electronics and how happy they made people.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I am Proud of every job I do.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes I attend Cedia every year as well as any vender traings that I can get involved in.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Some of the most exciting things are being able to connect with the internet and stream movies, music in High resolution.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Installing a Flat Panel display over a fireplace, surround sound system, programming a single remote that controlled the whole system.

I had to remove the base boards to run the wires because the room was on a slab, run the wire up the walls, re-install the base boards and do touch up work.

I provided the cables, Remote, Programming and calibration of the Video Display and the Surround system. The cost was $20,000.00

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. $75. 00 per hour per man+ materials

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Not a good time, all the people out of work is causing way to many people to try it and they are giving the industry a black eye. I get more phone calls to fix poor quality installs than new business. Way too many $199.00 installed lies!

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. Why would I use you?

Answer:
I have a passion for this business, fair pricing, quality products and services. We believe that customers for life. The money will come. Just make people happy!
