FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Before choosing a contractor I would do the following three things. 1) I would verify they have true worker's compensation and general liability insurance by calling their agent. Many companies open a policy, cancel it, and then pass out copies of the insurance certificate. 2) I would also verify that you are working with someone who has a physical office location so that you aren't dealing with someone out of a mailbox or truck. 3) Go to Georgia's Secretary of State's website to see verify I am dealing with the same company. Many contractor's aren't registered with the Secretary of State, have dissolved the company, or have changed names many times. Does the number of years they say they have been in business match up to the Secretary of State's registration date? All these are warning signs that the contractor has no long term business plans and any warranty they provide me has no value.
