FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We cannot guarantee our fast turn-around services, or even the quality of our work IF AND ONLY IF the customer brings in their own digitized file. Some digitizers are really good and we've had good experiences with customers that did the digitizing elsewhere, but we've also had horrible experiences where the digitizing was poorly done and we could not finish the job with that file. We had to digitize it ourselves and thus the job was not as quick as we'd liked for it to have been, though we managed to finish it within the customer's set deadline.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Embroidery machines do not accept jpg, png, bmp or any image file, and that is why, when doing embroidery, there is a one time setup fee. The customer's logo needs to be changed into coordinates (stiches) so that the machine knows, when, where, and how to stich the shirt or garment. Once the logo has been digitized it can be used multiple times. The setup fee would only reoccur in the situation that a customer changes logo from one order to the next.
