Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Smaller, "brochure" type websites consisting of 5 or fewer pages. Occasionally, a client requests a blog.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. It's all about quality over quantity. Also, avoid offers which seem "too cheap", often times the person you are dealing with or consulting with, lacks the required skillset to complete the task, always consult a professional even if it means paying a little more for the service.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Web Development is NOT easy, and it's NOT fast. Anyone who tells you different is only trying to sell you on the idea that it is.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What are your qualifications?
Do you have references?
Can I see your portfolio?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The biggest problem most of my clients have when contacting me for a development job, is that they often have not thoroughly researched their competition, and they often do not have a solid plan in regards to what they want their website to achieve for their business.
