Asked them to completely clear my backyard of English ivy and plant crepe myrtle. Tree planting happened with fair appearance (messy hole dug but at least a tree is in there). Only the very top surface leaves and vines of ivy were removed. There are still hundreds of ground-lying vines of ivy on the ground. Yes, I know it's hard to get rid of but that was why I tried to hire professionals. Apparently complete removal consisted of leaving a good bit of ivy present. When I complained ivy still was present I was told that it was my fault for having skewed expectations that the ivy would all be removed (though in conversations and email I asked for complete removal). I was not impressed with their communication skills as it took multiple calls/emails to get responses. Just writing this to let prospective clients know what they could be getting in to. Now I have to use more of my time and money to get my yard how I originally wanted it.

We've used JML Landscape Development for our lawn care maintenance for several years now, and are always pleased with their work. They do more than just mow your yard. They take care of the beds, edge, and clean up. I come home to a yard that I'm proud of. We were listing our house for sale, and asked JML to come refresh our beds before listing. I'm going to give them the credit for boosting our curb appeal and helping us sell our house the first week it was listed. Great yard, great photos, great turnaround. Thanks.

Jon was a pleasure to work with and had great communication with me. We had weather issues that caused delays but he was quick to let me know and got it scheduled as soon as weather permitted. Great work and very happy with what was done. Looking to have them do additional work including a fire pit and patio.

Before selecting JML we had interviewed a total of three thumbtack contractors for the job. JML was both the low price leader as well as the most open and hospitable of the three. Oue experience with JML was very positive. Weather interfered with timing of the work but JML kept us informed about their progress toward our job along the way. They were always very polite (the whole crew) and focused on providing us with a perfect job. I would be happy to use JML for any other landscaping. Bob Coleman

JML Landscape Development was started in 1998 when our owner Jon Powell needed a summer high school. Not only did he quickly find out he was good at it he also realized he liked it and there was a need for it in his area of Gwinnett County
