  • Because we believe your mindset is paramount to your results (no matter what we do or how much you spend, if your mindset is off, we both lose) we require you apply to participate in our programs. This helps laser your focus and begins the coaching process right away. In addition we have monthly seminars focused on mindset and nutrition for our clients that are well attended and many clients attribute their lasting success to what they learn at these seminars about what we call "the other 23 hours of the day"...we are changing how to get people fit and that is why our motto is: "WE SELL RESULTS NOT MEMBERSHIPS!" – Nov 14, 2011 at 9:43 am

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure any professional you hire has certification at the very least, but be sure you are dealing with a pro -ask if the person is insured and has references as well as satisfied clients. Do not skip this!! While your readiness is more important than anything, be sure that you get the best for your money when you ARE ready.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a customer I would wish I knew that many personal trainers are just people who did not have any better options in life and their heart is not in helping others but in just a "job" Even the higher end personal training certifications (note: look for NASM, ACSM, and NCSM first then ISSA and ACE for exceptions where you have a great trainer who knows their stuff and the cert might not fully reflect that), they are just like 1 college class. People way over estimate trainers based on certs. Look for the person, look for integrity. Look for references, history, and satisfied clients and colleagues.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. I would ask for references of satisfied clients AND colleagues. How many clients stay with you more than 1, 3 or 6 months? Why are you a personal trainer?
