Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Music Recordings. We also help in conducting and writing your song. We can provide music, instruments and backup vocals.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Most importantly is making sure that you and your engineer will be able to work together. We recomend that you have a meeting with us for the 1st step. Make sure that we can provide the type of music & feel that you are looking for. Then we set a time to begin; but we sugest that your 1st recording time is for one song. This give both of us a chance to work with each other and not have a long comment in case we have any concerns or challenges making your project work.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The problem is that most of the time the customer thinks they know what questions to ask; like what program do you us to record; which is the wrong question. The 1st question should be "What type of music do your record"? Then they should ask "Can I hear some of your recordings"? If you like the sound and feel of the projects that you listen too, then you can ask other questions about: How did you record it? What kind of mic do you use? Can you give me this type of sound? (Give them examples of who you like or who you would like for your projects to sound like). These are just some of the questions that your should ask, not do your use... (program, mic or operating system). See if you like the sound then does it really matter what was used? Ask Questions, Listen, Learn & then Decide! I hope this helps.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We strive to give you the greatest dynamics in your music making sure the style of music can be experienced and not just heard. Most songs on the radio lack punch and brightness that makes it stand out from the rest. Here at Virtual Adrenaline you will hear the difference that's why we say "Making You Sound Good" Come and hear the difference today!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Simply put: "Working with people". We love to help people develope their dreams!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much does it cost to record a song is the most common question. The answer is, there is no answer but we have something to help you think about it. Ask yourself how long does it take to sing/perform the song. Say the song is 4 minutes, then in theory it should take about 4 minutes to sing the song (if everyone plays at the same time. But we know in the real world when you get in the studio everything is different and new. So let's say it takes 30 min to an hour to record the first song, again remember this is if everyone is ready and your take is like doing it live. Then we lay down the vocals; as far as recording we are done. Now to the mixing, this can take 1 to 4 hours (or more) depending on the complexity of the song. Then the mastering which should take about an hour or two. Now you are ready to take a listen. Now remember this is just an example and we know that it always take more that one take for most so keep that in mind. If everyone knows their parts it will go much faster. So it all depends on how well you know your material. This is based on a typical "live performance" type recording not stacking 10 vocals so it sounds full, which we rarely do because we have plug-ins that work much better. I hope this helps. Call us with any questions.
