Introduction: If you are looking for talent, creativity and amazing design skills, look no further than MarenHartmanArt. My artwork has been seen in television shows, movies, national advertising campaigns, inside and outside of businesses as well as in day cares, children's rooms and client's personal spaces. From custom calligraphy to full scale murals to painted clothing, I can design something amazing exactly for you! No job is too big or too small. My background as an artist started from when I was young. I come from an artistic family. I designed sets and props for various school productions as well as created custom silk screen shirts, programs and more. As an art major in college, I further honed my skills in a wide variety of mediums but paint and ink have always been my favorite! I won consecutive awards throughout college for mural creations, feat not regularly achieved. My personal artistic style tends to be bold, colorful and unique but I can do monochromatic, dark, etc - I am great at coming up with and implementing designs to fit specific needs. In addition to my skills and creativity, I am a product knowledge-certified paint professional. Maren did an excellent job on my son’s mural. I can’t express in words how awesome her deign process is. She puts a lot of thought into her murals. They are not cookie-cutter and customized to perfection. When I say customized, she asks you questions and tries to get to know the subject she’s drawing for so that the mural will have a personalized touch! If you are considering a muralist, please place Maren at the very top of your list! I would not hesitate to hire her again, should the need arise.

I have been trying to book since last year. Her talent speaks volume. Let me start by acknowledging that I can be quite difficult to work with. Ranging from changing the concept to having a wild imagination but Mrs. Hartman was what I needed to bring my ideas together. She helped me to understand the depth and quality of her work. Not to mention she was down one hand/ arm due to an injury but I tell you what….. you could not tell at all because that did not stop her show at all. She was over the top and just what we needed to bring the logo to life. Great customer service, professional, punctual, creative, and very hard working. Her details are mind blowing. Thank you for allowing me to experience the greatest of your work.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am fair and consistent. I don't charge some people more because I think they can afford it. Calligraphy pricing is done per piece, painted clothing is priced per hour and murals are priced per square foot.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Developing a vision of what the customer wants into a plan of action. It may be as easy as picking a font and ink color for envelopes to sketches and design consultation for a mural. Each client and their specific needs are unique and I treat them that way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an art major in college. My primary focus and study was on creating realistic looking images and designs. I have been doing continuous education ever since graduation. I have done artwork on every type of surface and with a wide variety of mediums. I also a certified paint professional so I am able to suggest the best type of paint for any project.
