Introduction: With over 20 years of performance and studio experience and 12 years of teaching experience, Chad Jackson can teach beginner to advanced students 5 years and older.
Our topics of study include drum set -- grooves, fills, song studies, and how to play in a band; concert band -- mallet studies, reading, dynamics, and audition prep; and marching band -- technique, rudimental studies, control and speed, and HS drumline prep.
Chad has taught over 60 students in the East Cobb/Marietta areas, with 14 of his current and former students in the acclaimed Lassiter and Sprayberry bands. With each student, Chad tries to help him or her realize their latent potential to create and enjoy making music. In the process, Chad shows each student how to experience the benefits of music which include improved awareness and concentration, better performance in school, and improved self-worth, esteem, and confidence. And we have a lot of fun along the way!
