Sunday night I decided enough was ENOUGH! I had to do something about the red hair that REFUSED to fade away with the ridiculously long roots. That evening I decided to first try going to Three13 Salon, first off the prices were way too high and they not only had no one available, but they wanted me to make an appointment for a consultation and THEN after that make another appointment with a stylist (sorry that's just too much work! I was beyond desperate) so then I visited Lucy's apparently they were having a party and no one in there was working that day so I was turned away. Then I decided to try 3J Haircuts and was as well turned away. I was about to give up when I found Meena from Lookin' Good Salon on Yelp. I decided to give her a call, I explained my situation and what I was looking to have done. Lucky for me she had a reschedule that night (mind you it was almost 5pm already!) so she happily agreed to have me come over regardless of the time! I couldn't be happier it seemed I was finally going to be able to get my hair fixed! When I arrived she looked over the horrible damage I had done and agreed that it was a challenge but that she was going to tackle it HEAD FIRST! And that's exactly what she did! I ended up leaving her salon at 9:30 at night! She didn't give up or turn me away, she treated me exactly how I wanted to be treated! And not only that, but SHE IS A GENIUS. I'm never letting anyone else touch this hair except Meena for as long as I live in GA. I definitely recommend her to everyone! You won't regret it :)

UPDATE (I should have changed this earlier, but 3 deaths in my family following this, so I truly forgot this was here) The review below was posted by the hair stylist herself. In truth she really messed up my hair, hence no pics from the front. She quoted a rate on the phone, yet she charged several extra fees due to my long hair, washing, drying, styling, etc. I didn't ask for a difficult hair cut, didn't buy products, and after all of the "extra add on fees" the amount was outrageous, bordering on $250 for a hair cut. I didn't get it colored, nor any extra services. And she claimed not to know how to cut my hair...! I could go on, but, UGH!!! She doesn't even have a shop, it's her house. SHE wrote the review for 2 reasons, I didn't realize how badly she'd messed up my hair until later, and more importantly, she gave me discounts if I allowed her to write her review. I then paid the original $ quoted. -_____________________Meena did exactly what I wanted! Im so happy, and the place was both beautiful and clean. Will definitely return!

I loved getting my hair done by Meena. I just moved to Marietta and needed a good place to get my hair done. I have extremely thick and long hair and it is very unmanageable. Meena cuts my hair perfectly and spends time getting it just right. The high lights also come out really well. The product she uses doesn't dry my hair put like other products do which is awesome. Since my hair is so long and I go so long between visits it takes a ton of time to do. Meena never makes me feel bad about not coming in sooner or never pushes unneeded products on my hair. She is super friendly and works extremely hard. I always enjoy her company and am glad I don't have to go anywhere else!

Exactly a week ago I got my hair cut by this gifted hair stylist named Meena. Of course, like any other person with long hair was very nervous about cutting it, but Meena helped me choose the right cut that would fit my facial features. Not only did she cut it exceeding my expectations, but she also dyed my hair 3 days before and I absolutely love how it all turned out. Her at home (or she can come to you) salon gives a very soothing vibe. Meena is generous and kind hearted; I took my son with me to get my hair cut and like any toddler he was just looking for something to do. Meena kindly went into her home and brought back a box of toys for him to play with and I just love how she kept it very professional yet also had a motherly flow going on. 5 stars? I wish I could give her 7, highly recommend Meena to anyone. So sweet and easy to talk to!

Booking an appointment with timing and pricing and a brief consultation over the phone, on the day Checkin formality, A thorough Consultation about what is desired, Suggestions, what is achievable, pricing, how long it will take and stay, Follow up appointments and on call for any questions about styling, products, keeping it healthy. My number one priority is healthy hair, skin so my tons of suggestions are based on that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Science, Diploma in Travel and Tourism, 2 year Diploma in Cosmetology. Advance Certification in Hair Color, Highlights, Haircuts.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did corporate jobs for few years in different fiends like Medical billing, Airline crew, Travel Agency, I missed being creative, I got tired of company politics and depending on a company for my livelihood. I wanted freedom of time and to feel good about work and blooming with my creativity. So started my quest and decided I have to have skills which no one can take from me. Had taken a parttime job in Salon to help a master Stylist and I fell in with with this Industry and went to 2 year Cosmetology school and till date love my work, I have all that I wanted. Love meeting new people, feel good about being independent and able to do great things for my clients. Never a dull moment.
