Introduction: My styling is very soft and natural - at the same time - the products I choose to use are well pigmented and show up well on camera. So my brides look great both in person and in their photos of their special day! I have carefully selected products for my bridal kit for their quality and longevity. I've been told many times in regards to both hair and makeup that they are so pleased with how natural everything looks as well as how long their looks last!

Susan is not only an outstanding makeup artist, but a genuine person and friend. I worked with Susan for 5 months on a TV production crew and since day one she was the sweetest and most punctual person there. All personal aside, I was extremely astounded at her ability to create such fabulous looks with our cast's hair and makeup. She has a talent and an eye for just about any style or look you're going for. She's very creative and the best person to be around. She has done my makeup once before as well and I must say I felt like a "firecracker". I felt so beautiful and the best part was, she let me wear the makeup, not let the makeup wear me... as I see so many makeup artists do these days. What I mean by that is, she knew the exact look that would agree with me and I LOVED it....That's what separates Susan from other artists, she takes a person's personality and wants and knows exactly what you will like and what agrees with you. She doesn't just apply the same technique to everyone, she creates a special look just for you, whatever the occasion may be. She knows how to take a person's face structure and flatter your good and throw the bad out the window... Susan Gramling is by far the most professional, talented and genuine person I have met in the industry.

Susan was Amazing!!! She did hair and make up for the Bride, Mother of the Bride, Matron of Honor, and 2 Flower Girls. Everyone was beyond pleased with her work. I knew from our initial call that I wanted to book her. Susan has such a great personality and just talking to her eased some of the stress of wedding planning. I was even more confident after the trail. I showed her some pictures of hair and make up and at the end of the trail I looked exactly like what I had envisioned. She took head shots of the hair and make up from the trial and referenced them as she was doing my hair and make up for the wedding day. So my hair and make up was perfect on my wedding day. She is an above par artist. You can see the passion and care she puts into her work. If she thinks something doesn't look right she will fix it and she listens to your wants and ideas. There is honestly nothing negative I can think of regarding Susan or her work. Only praise can be said.

I met Susan through a mutual friend about 3 years ago. Our friend linked us up knowing Susan was in school for hair/make-up and I am a Fashion Designer (a match made in heaven!). I booked Susan on several photo shoots and runway shows for my company, Knot Couture, over the past few years. I cannot even begin to tell you all the different hair/make-up styles I have thrown at her and she has pulled them off effortlessly. She is super easy to work with, efficient, and of course a fantastic artist. I would recommend Susan to anyone needing hair/make-up assistance!! Her skills only continue to grow and I am happy to see her success in everything she touches.

I highly recommend Susan! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I LOVED the way she made me feel and look! She did the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids too and they looked beautiful and were very happy with her services. Susan was fantastic!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It is so important to continue to learn in the ever evolving beauty world. I stay current with trends in fashion and am always seeking continued education. Most recently, I took Kat Flynt's Commercial Beauty course. Kat Flynt has been a professional makeup artist for over 20 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and learned so many useful tools and tricks of the trade.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm very proud of the work I've done as Key Makeup Artist and Key Hair stylist on Double Divas for Lifetime. Working on set five days or more a week for the last six months has taught me to work very quickly, while still maintaining a keen eye for details. This has been the most challenging and rewarding job I have worked this far in my career and I have loved every minute of it.
