Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. For the Shortest, and therefore most cost effective, use of your time and ours:

Pack Clothes and Fabrics in bags

Pack breakables in lots of paper inside a box

Disassemble Furniture (eg. beds & tables)

Small 1 - 2 Bedroom we can fit into a pick-up truck

Large 2 - 6 Bedrooms we will need to use a Box truck or trailer

Anything Larger than that will take longer than 1 day, if anyone tells you different then they are not disclosing all of their charges

or

We can can get 4 - 8 guys with at least 2 trucks
(This would only be suggested if time is an Issue.

Deliveries with us can be ordered and received from the comfort of your own home.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How Can I get started in the morning if my movers are scheduled to show up later in the day?

The best way to pack is slowly with knowledge about everything you are packing. Using a system of rows to ensure a fully packed truck.

If you are still unsure, simply take all the fragile stuff and breakables; pack them into boxes and load them first.

Remember that the most secure load in a truck is packed from the floor to the ceiling.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long does it typically take you to move ..._Fill in the Blank_.
for Example:

A single Lawyer's office.

1 Bedroom Apartment with lots of stuff or with only a little stuff

3 Bedroom House with just a couple or with a family of 3 or more.

"I have Large Glass pieces that will require extra care, how will you keep them safe?"

"My antiques are fragile are you proficient in handling antiques?"

"This is our new home can you be sure to not nick the newly painted walls?"

"I have many small fragile things packed into boxes, will you know how to keep these (figurines) secure during the drive?"

If anything was missing from the previous quote we address it quickly and gently.
We will immediately get to work and keep up with the time for you and your budget.
We complete 2 ways. Either after all the furniture in your home is set up and the truck is empty. Or if you have rented a truck we can do things in any order you would like and finish when you are ready for us to be done.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Sales, Customer Service, Labor, production; all jobs I require knowledge of from my employees because they are all qualities a good mover needs.

I love seeing the happy faces of our clients.

In no other Job have I felt such encouragement and satisfaction in my work.

Moving is not complicated but there is a lot to it. We bring our knowledge and experience to the table allowing for the quickest and most fun your move could possibly be without a moonwalk, lol.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. In high school and slightly before, the founder of Student Movers worked along side an interior designer. This allowed for an extensive knowledge about furniture, furniture dealers, color schemes, layouts & much more.

Mostly working around new construction sights allowed me to see all the happy faces of new home owners.

One of the hardest thing about owning a new home is taking your old life, packing it up and transferring it to the new home.

When it Came time for Mr. Argo to go to college it just made sense to bring his understanding and pass it along to others.
