You don't have to be a seasoned athlete or bodybuilder to enjoy the life-changing benefits of a personal trainer. A personal trainer is just as important in helping to attain a specific goal for those who have never worked out, as he/she is for the level of professional athletes. Having a personal trainer can save you a lot of time, frustration and pain in your journey, to achieve your health and fitness goals.
V.I.People & Pets helps people of all fitness levels and abilities tone up, trim down, and improve their health. You don't even need equipment in your home; I can bring the gym to you! If you want to feel good in your body and about yourself, I am certain that I can help you.
I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the most prestigious training organization, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the most sought-after certification in the field. I am also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE). I believe that my ability to properly assess muscular imbalances and postural distortions, and design a successful workout program specifically for you, is worth my weight in gold!
Think of a personal trainer as your own private coach whose goal is to get you where you need to be. I am patient, professional and knowledgeable. I will help you set reasonable and tangible training and nutritional goals, and assemble a specific plan to reach those goals.
A. I am a great alternative to a gym membership. No equipment, no problem! I have an assortment to choose from that can easily travel with me to your home. I develop a customized strength, flexibility, cardio, and nutrition plan for you based on you, your goals, your time available to exercise, your current fitness level, etc. My most common client-base in the past has been weight management, but this does not mean I only specialize in weight-loss alone. I have worked with many different populations. My specialty is being a chameleon - I can adapt to your style and needs. That's what I was trained and certified to do! My goal is to help you achieve your goals.
A. Personal training may seem expensive in general, but I invite you to take a look at your budget and I guarantee you will find something that is either frivolous or wasteful. Such being the case, why would you skimp onyour own health & well-being? Doctors, Dentists, Accountants, Attorneys, Financial Advisors, etc. are all very expensive but when it makes sense to use them it saves us valuable time and money ... we pay them for their expertise. Personal training is in exactly the same category and without one's health, you have nothing. Compare me to others and you will quickly learn my rates are very reasonable
A. Are you certified? Insured? Yes! I am certified with the following 3 of only 4 nationally and medically recognized organizations: NSCA, NASM and ACE. I hold the most sought-after certification in the personal training industry - National Strength and Conditioning Association's Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).I carry a comprehensive insurance policy as a member of IDEA, through Philadelphia Insurance Co. I am also Red Cross CPR/AED certified. Not all certifications are created equal! Trainers need no standard certification, and the credentials some, if not most, have require only a quick online course or a fee. There are hundreds and hundreds of certification mills out there ready to give anyone a "certification" just by simply taking an at-home, online test after 2 weeks of studying. My certifications require a college degree, controlled on-location testing environments and 6-12 months of studying 700+ paged textbooks.
