Our professional handler has been caring for birds for over fifty years. Our doves are well trained and will fly home to their nest after each release.
A Dove's Nest also offers a variety of packages to help plan your wedding day. We can get you started, then step aside or become a special friend and walk with you through the wedding planning process, from the engagement and prewedding parties to your walk down the aisle, your first dance and off to the honeymoon. When the time comes, we can also plan the baby shower.

Funerals are such somber occasions but your wonderful, majestic doves add so much beauty to such a sad day.
The minute we thought of it, we knew our son who passed away would have loved it. Everyone who was present loved it, as well.
We had been trying to come up with a way to give him something special and to do something special in his memory. The doves were magnificent, beautiful and just perfect.

After interviewing a few wedding planners, my wife and daughter, decided to have Nancy from A Dove's Nest, handle the arrangements for her wedding. Nancy turned out to be, hands down the, most honest, hardest working, efficient, organized, upbeat person we have ever met. She put together an over the top wedding for our daughter, and son in law. Our friends and family are still saying that this was the best wedding they have ever attended. She saved us money on just about every thing involved, she made it easy, stress free, and the wedding day went down like clock work. A Dove's Nest also did the flowers, and a surprise dove release for my daughter and son and law, exceeding our expectations, from start to finish. I'm sure you will be every bit as pleased with Nancy as we were.

Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love everything about my job, mostly because it never feels like a job.I truly enjoy wedding planning, releasing beautiful white doves and making pretty flower arrangements. Sometimes my days and nights run into each other, but the out come is always worth it. I love working with the brides and grooms. They are so happy , so much in love and here I am, helping them plan the day where their journey will begin. What an honor!
Releasing white doves for weddings, funerals and special occasions is always uplifting. The doves have such a strong symbolism and peaceful feeling about them.
I feel very lucky to be able to offer this service.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. On every dove release, someone will ask.
How do the doves find their way home? I always answer with a smile, On a wing and a prayer!
The rock doves are very smart birds, strong flyers and have a great homeing ability. After each release they return home to their nest. The doves are either flying with their mates or returning to their mates. It also takes a lot of training, north, south, east and west of Atlanta to keep the dove's homeing instinct in tune.Training the doves to return home is not a career or job, it's a way of life.
