You will be trained with the proper skills to techniques needed for becoming a fabulous flutist! You will be guided with the perfect music curriculum that suits your needs. You will gain a wide selection of vast and great songs to study and perform.

Jodie Mesler has been teaching music for over 15 years and she is a very playful and fun teacher. As a flutist of 25 years, she has played the flute and many other instruments over a wide range of music styles and is an experienced performer and music educator. She also owns the Home Music Making website, where you will find many of her joyful creations from songs that she wrote and much more.

Flute lessons are booked by 1/2 hour time slots, once a week, every week. The student will receive an average of 4 - 30 minute lessons a month costing $80, due each new month. Basically each lesson costs $20, but is collected monthly.

Beginners may start as soon as nine years old on flute, and other beginners may begin as young as six years old on a recorder-like instrument called the pennywhistle, in which Jodie uses her own music curriculum that she created especially for the young child found at homemusicmaking.com.

Also accepting Skype students, please note that the fee is $85 per month, instead of $80.

My daughter Ericah took lessons from Jodie for almost 2 years and it was a very great experience. We love the Messlers. A very talented teacher. I would recommend her to teach your children so they can achieve their musical goals.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. You will find that in my work I use a very unique curriculum, one that I say truly respects our American culture.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love music and I love children! I love knowing that I can give my passion of these loves blended together.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. From parents, it is a question of "When do I start my child with flute lessons?" And my answer is not until the child is at least 9-years-old. If you want to start your child at a younger age, we can begin as early as 6-years-old on a recorder-like instrument called the pennywhistle, of which I have created a special music curriculum for called "Living Music From the Heart" found at my website homemusicmaking.com
