- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are not complicated when it comes to pricing. K&W Home Services, LLC looks at the project and provides an estimate on three factors: 1. The cost of materials (if needed) 2. The time it will take to complete the job 3. How many employees are need That's it! We also offer hourly Handyman Service Call rates....If a homeowner has several "little" home repairs or needs.- typically services that are 2 hours or less. We do not charge for each separate services. We give you a flat hourly rate. If K&W tells you that we can do it in an hour, you will only be charged for that hour...even if WE went over. For Example: Say a homeowner wanted to have their handle rail on their stair case re-painted. The homeowner informed us that they had the paint. This project would take an hour or less and the homeowner and K&W both agreed on services.(owner supplied the paint, we would paint it and charge an hour services call fee) If the paint the homeowner supplied was not enough and a trip to store was needed to buy more paint. This might influence the project to run closer to two hours.... K&W Home Services, LLC will not charge you for the extra time. We honor what we say and guarantee what we do!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Often you find things in life that you are talented in and love at the same time. That is how we got into this line of work- from there we created it into our own business. From owning our own business we are able to further this concept by being able to set our "family friendly price" and keep the same quality of work.
