Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Birthday parties, divorce parties, anniversary parties, Weddings, Wedding receptions, Children parties
KARAOKE parties (80,000 karaoke songs), we can also help you with Event Planning.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. We host karaoke at two different locations on Thursdays @ Los Bravos Mexican Salem Road in Conyers, GA Have been their Karaoke host since October 2010 and Johnny's Pizza Covington on Tuesdays since December 2011.

Birthday party for 3 different age groups same day same party for a 10 year old, A 15 year old and a 50 year old. We had a blast, with a huge selection of music! Lots of dancing and karaoking going on!

Weddings at Hard Labor Creek State Park, Gaithers Plantation, private homes, Burge Plantation, Burnt Pine Plantation etc. I love Weddings, they are my favorite part of my job. I usually help coordinate most all of my weddings, If you need a preacher, I got one....Do you need a photograpers, I got one....What about flowers for the wedding, got one of those too!!!! Just call me, I can help!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask questions!!! Ask for references!! Ask if they have a website, facebook page etc. CHECK REFERENCES!!!! If your DJ cannot provide you with feedback from previous clients, there is probably a reason!!! :)

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish that I had of gotten into DJ'ing so much earlier in my life! I never knew that I could have so much fun. It has turned into a family affair!! My daughter does some awesome wedding/party cakes, my daughter n law is an awesome wedding photographer. Call me for their numbers 770-403-1466

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Be ready to fill out some forms for music. I mail each Bride and Groom a set of forms to fill out so that I can make sure that their Wedding day is everything that they have dreamed of!!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Most Wedding DJ's just plan to play music. With C & D Entertainment you get so much more! I am going to make sure that all of your "1st" (dance, mother/groom, father/daughter, etc) are done in a timley manner. I love playing games with my Bride and Grooms and I am going to make sure that ALL your guests, from 2 to 92 have a great time!!!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Everytime I go to work, I go to a party!!!! I love making a fool out of myself! I love dancing, I love singing, I love karaoke.............I love EVERYTHING about my job!!! Even the stressing brides, I go above and beyond to make sure their day turns out just the way they wanted it too!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Will you play the music I request? Of course, I will
How long will you play at my reception? Until the last guest leaves.
Can you play music for my Wedding Ceremony? Yes, no problem!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I have so many funny things that happen, I think the funniest is.....Waiting for the ceremony to start, I asked the Bride for the Grooms' ring, she said, Hold on. Turned to her sister and asked for her keys, the bride took the ring off her sisters keys and handed me the ring and said, "here ya go". I just looked at her and said, OK. During the ring ceremony, the sister hollared across the church...........I want my keyring back after the ceremony!!!! I liked to DIED!!!!!!!!!!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Everyone seems to think that DJ'ing is easy and all you do is play music. They don't see all the work that goes into it before your event. The equipment is expensive and not just anyone can make people get up on their feet and dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I am a singer, I love music. I started singing with a group, we went from festival to festival and put on a show. My husband wanted me to be able to record some CD's, so he bought me a recorder. The he decided we needed to be able to record other people singing, so he built me a Mobile Recording Studio, we went from festival to festival doing that. Someone asked me about KJ'ing a party and the rest is history!!!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I do alot of research making sure I have the latest and greatest music, if I don't have the song that you are looking for, most times I will have it before the night is through!!

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. We also offer KARAOKE parties. We are all Digital, play lots of dance music in between singers, we can also record the singers during a KARAOKE show. For a nominal fee they can take home a CD of themselves singing.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. My most recent project will be to incorporate projection into my events. If you are getting married and want a slide show to show at the reception we will be able to provide that service for an additional service. Coming in August 2010

A. It is a very fun profession for the most part!! There is nothing more exciting than making sure that people are dancing, laughing and having a GREAT time!!!
