Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Camp Jam offers 8 years of summer camp experience as one of the leading rock and roll music performance camps in the country, now in 18 cities. Camp Jam has taken that experience and developed a year round music program that offers private lessons and rock band ensemble programs that culminate in live shows and concerts at some of Atlanta's coolest venues including the Hard Rock Cafe!
Artist involvement is the what makes Camp Jam and Camp Jam Rock School stand apart from the others. In addition to our staff of qualified instructors well known musicians and recording artists drop by to work with the kids to give it a special and memorable experience.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Seeing the progress of each student from the private lesson and rehearsal room to the live show.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. What instruments do we teach and what ages and experience levels do you accept in the program. The school teaches guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and voice. Private lessons are for any age, including adults. The band programs start around age 10, earlier if they can hang in there with a band. The school offers pre band programs along with private lessons to prepare students for joining a band within 8 weeks of entry. Bands are formed according to age and level of experience.
