- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad had a moving company and i had been working summers with him since age 17. I was burned out from the corporate setting at a young age; so i tried what i know best; moving. I started Always Moving and Storing in 2001 and never looked back. Now many years, customer relationships, and experiences later; i still enjoy my line of work and look forward to providing the best service i can possibly provide. I really enjoy my line and no two moves have ever been the same. I am looking forward to the new year and new experiences that will come along with it. We are really promoting our packing service this year because we learned so many people dont like to pack and had no idea that we provide that service. We have to know how to get it done with ease and save you time and money.The world is Always Moving!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of job is simply moving a person moving from point A to point B. There is nothing common about any move other than the transport aspect. Each client has a different set of needs from the next.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check around and go with quality, not cheap. These people will be in hour home and responsible for your property. It only makes sense to go with the provider who is reputable and straight forward. Ask questions if you are unsure of anything. A good mover will take the time to go over any concerns his shipper may have.
