Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Executive head shots and corporate events. Award ceremonies, annual report images, new products and catalog sheets.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask questions and be ready to answer questions like: who, where, what time, inside or out, what is the look of the image you want.
Those are just a few of the things I need to know so I will know what I need to bring with me.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. It is always valuable to talk to the photographer you want to hire. You start building a raptor right away and that makes it easier for everyone.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. How the image will be used. Do you need a print or .jpg

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Because I am not new to the field I have more experience, and a style of my own. I have had the chance to work with some of the best photographer in the southeast, and learn from the best.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I really enjoy meeting the people as clients and feeling like I have made a friend before the session is over.

A. Will you work for me as an individual? Of course the answer is yes, how can I help you?

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Every photoshoot has it's own story. They are almost always fun for me that is why I love what I do. I get to meet such interesting people for all walks of life.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. There are a lot of photographers out there and more everyday. A lot of them don't even know what they are looking for in lighting. They just shoot with there on camera flash pointing right at you and you get no modeling of light on the subject to give it depth.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I followed my fathers foot steps, and love the interaction with clients.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I got to do a magazine spread for the CEO of a subsidiary of Alco. He was so easy to work with, and fun to get to know.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Actually I teach to stay on top of my game. The students make you think about what you know, and challenge your knowledge.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. The quickest changes are coming in the software that we use.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. I went of location to photograph the afore mentioned CEO in his office. The challenge was that he had limited time to devote to the project. I had about 30 min. to get as many different looks and locations as possible.
I delivered in excess of 70 images for the art director to pick from. They we please with the selections that I offered.
They had tried to do the project in house with less than satisfactory result. That made it even more fun for me.

A. I work off of a quote for the most part. I try to find out as much about the project as possible and then quote a price for that.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Call and talk to me! Lets work out the details before we start the project.
