Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. Traffic-building musical performance event for a tourist fun center.

Provided entertainment at 2 country club membership dinner-shows.

MC'd, coordinated entertainment, and entertained at a dinner for cancer survivors sponsored by Georgia Power, for the American Cancer Society.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you can find another world-class entertainer who knows how to attract a crowd and enhance your company image, without upstaging your brand message, then compare our price quotes.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I also provide karaoke djing, and teach line dance at parties. But as a spoons player, I'm world class and perform rudiments that no-one else in the world has mastered. When I play, I capture the attention of eveyone in the room...no matter how large the room.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That what I do is not a little clever trick, but a fascinating show that is worthy of a feature act. My father was a professional who was contracted to play in front of a 16-piece orchestra who played the songs to feature his style. I'm a 4th generation percussionist who loves to amaze. Your guests will be delighted... guaranteed!!!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. The party for all of the Postmasters in Georgia at their annual convention was a blast neither I, not they, will ever forget!!!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Because I perform in chef attire, and often work around food, I have taken a college-level course to be certified for safe food handling.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. The Internet has changed every line of business that I know of, and many for the better.... Brand building, also.

A. I usually dedicate prep time, as well as at least the entire day for an event. So my charges reflect my reasonable compensation for assuring your event will be exciting and memorable. Amazement guaranteed!

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. LOL... Well, I suppose I'd be talking to a 6-year-old, and I'd say "Practice for the next 48 years, then compare yourself to anyone else, and if people tell you "That's amazing!!!" and "I've never seen anything like it!!!" ... you'll know you have a talent people will gladly pay to have at their events! LOL

A. What would you do if money were not a prohibiting factor?

I'd tour the 170 children's hospitals in the US and play for the children and teach those who wanted to learn. I'd love to see their smiles, help occupy their minds, and give them a sense of accomplishment from learning a new skill they can show off to their friends and families.
