Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. At Vstrose Photography we make sure that our clients are comfortable in front of the camera. We cater to our clients needs 99.9% of time. Our clients are always well informed.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would like to know the deciding factor of selecting the right person for the job. I would also refer to other educational resources for help“someone”.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1. Do they act like a professional?
Not every professional has their own studio or brick-and-mortar storefront these days. However, they should at least have a website. If your guy is merely pointing you to his Facebook page or looks at you funny when you ask for a business card, you might want to consider other options.

2. Do they have a portfolio?
Okay, so maybe not everyone has a website or business cards. At the very least, anyone calling themselves a pro will at the very least have a portfolio or several samples of their work. Always ask to see their personal work, too. If you don’t like his/her style, they may not be a good fit for you. Can a pro photographer adapt to a different style? Absolutely. Will it be as good as if they were doing it their own way? Probably not.
