FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a few factors I consider when quoting a project. As a general pricing guide I charge by the square foot. The prices range from $15-25 per square foot. Things that effect the price are color pallet, complexity, and environmental factors. More often clients have a specific budget for the mural and this works great too. I can show them what is possible within that budget. I'm open to barter for some of the cost too.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a chat with the client and see photos of the space. If I can visit the space in person before the project that helps but isn't necessarily. Once we have a chance to work out the clients vision I create a few drafts. We make the tweaks to the drafts then I create a digital mockup on the space so the client can see the finished product and has one more chance to make changes. Once the design is approved we book a date to do it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught artist. I have done many large projects. Some of them over 160 square ft. I have painted on almost every surface there is and I know what works and what doesn’t. I have learned a lot from other artists and feel like I have the skill set to tackle most jobs. I am also very tech savvy and I have a unique way to digitally present the project for the client so they can see exactly what the art will look like when completed. No guess work.
