A. There are no secrets. Just truths that most people do not want to face. There are no short cuts. Hard work and healthy eating habits are the only HEALTHY way to achieve fat loss and toning.
A. They should have a general idea of their state of health. At least a physical in the past year if they have not been indulged in any activities what so ever. And be prepared to fill out a health history questionaire.

A. One of my favorites is about a female client that was refered to me a few years back. She was 33, 5'6" and 358 lbs. Great spirit but had never been active before. Her sole goal was to initially lose 60 lbs. Of which I told her was completely realistic. Two months later, and 22 lbs lighter, she was approached by 3 of her girl friends to join them in the 3 day walk for Breast Cancer. She was terrified - one because she still got winded walking short flights of steps, let alone long distances. Long story short, Day one - one of her girls quit complaining of blisters. Day two, another cried of leg pain. Day four, she came running in the gym with the biggest smile and gave me the biggest hug telling me how easy it was for her and how her "skinny" girlfriends did nothing but complain the whole time.
