Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Squirrels in the attic are very common in the Spring and Fall, this is when they have their young. Rats can enter a home at anytime, but really like to get in out of the cold. We do alot of Woodpecker, Bees, Wasp, Hornet, and Snake removal work during the Spring and Summer.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure they are Licensed by the Department of Natural Resources, and that they have General Liability Insurance along with Workers Compensation Insurance. Check them out on BBB, and get references.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Experience and training! We have many years of experience, third generation trappers, and 1,000's of full exclusions. Our Techs and Repairmen are fully trained and experienced.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. It's something different everyday! Animals are not as dumb as some people think, they can present you with some challenges!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. I have my own traps "why am I not catching anything". Trapping animals is not always as simple as just putting some bait on the trigger and placing it somewhere in the general area. The traps need to be placed correctly, and have correct bait for the target animal.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. It's a tuff dirty job, but someone has to do it! We are always mobile "and gas ain't cheap, and neither is workers compensation insurance".

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. We are third generation trappers it just came naturally.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, as a matter of fact I am in Las Vegas this week (Jan. 17-21, 2011) for the Wildlife Convention and training seminars.
