I enjoy the challenges that teaching delivers. Each student presents a unique opportunity for teacher creativity and varied approaches to learning. Scheduling is also flexible and is tailored to meet the needs of the student--especially the adult student who often has a less fixed monthly schedule.

We have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Myrna for almost 6 years as the piano teacher of our two daughters. Our oldest daughter (currently 9 years old) has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Myrna since she was 4 and our youngest daughter (currently 6) since she was 5. Ms. Myrna’s passion for music is only surpassed by her passion to teach children of all ages the piano. As a piano teacher, she molds her lessons to the level of each individual student making every piano lesson a pleasing learning experience in a warm musical environment that each student can happily embrace. Our experience with Ms. Myrna over the years has been one in which we have grown to appreciate music so much more through the fingers of our children playing the piano. Ms. Myrna takes the time to know each child and their personalities. She is insightful of a child’s feelings and emotions and uses that to channel her piano lessons. It’s not unusual to see children that have taken piano lessons with Ms. Myrna to have to say 'so long', only because the student is now headed to college to start a new chapter in his/her life. Above all, Ms. Myrna is a positive influence that helps keep our children well-grounded and focused on the path of success. We love Ms. Myrna and if you are reading this and considering Ms. Myrna to be your or your child's piano teacher....GO for it. You won't regret it.

Generally, lesson fees are $27.00 per half hour; $35.00 per 45-minutes; $45.00 per hour.

Process varies as each student is an individual.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Professional diploma from Eastman Music School, part of the University of Rochester in New York State. I have also taken many training courses offered privately, online and at music teachers' state conferences in Florida and Georgia. I am a member of the Georgia State Music Teachers Association and the North Fulton Music Teachers Association. These professional organizations offer ongoing training.
