Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When seeking a great piano teacher remember that some teachers with proven track records teaching can get better results working with students than others.
The first teacher is very important in establishing good
technic and reading habits. A GREAT teacher can make the difference in if the student can play well or not.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I know many inside secrets in getting students motivated to learn and make music a lifetime joy . I have substantial knowledge in knowing what works and doesn't work with various students that some teachers don't possess. Appealing songs, special technic, reading and memorization tricks are all part of succesful lessons . It should not be strictly the elementary lesson book and nothing else.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How well do students enjoy their lessons and how well do they actually know how to play ? Do they know all their chords and scales ? Are you passionate about music and possess ability to pass our culture to the younger generation for posterity. What special programs and activities do you offer and are they world class ? Is your studio sound proof or do you hear other instruments while having the lesson ? Is their smoking in your studio ? Is your studio filled with natural light and good space or enclosed with little room to move around ? Do you allow parents to sit
in the lesson at any time ?
