FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Packing and Unpacking rate is $45 Per Hour for 1 Person. For a second person it would be an additional $35 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Packing - I arrive and quickly take a look at every area that is needing to be packed. While looking at each room , I’m specifically looking for large and fragile items. Even though the kitchen is always the first room I wrap and pack, taking note of other bulky and fragile items in the house gives me opportunity to maximize each box with the same type of item - fragile, bulky etc. Which helps to lessen the potential for breakage, etc. After the kitchen, I move to the dining, bar and living areas. I wrap all fragile items with packing paper and/or bubble wrap. Once completed, I begin packing all other items in those areas until complete. Next are the bedrooms, closets and bathrooms. Unpacking - Again, I arrive and take a look at all of the areas to be unpacked as well as the areas that the homeowner will be unpacking. If space is limited, it helps to know all areas for possible overflow. I also start with the kitchen. I unpack everything in an organized manner. I don’t just unpack it into any available space. If I’m unsure, I will put it aside and ask the homeowner before I place it. From there I move to the primary bedroom, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
