Do NOT Hire!!!!!!
I recently hired JnJ landscaping to clean up my yard and other landscaping work before my Daughters 1st Birthday party. I met with the co-owner John to survey the project and walk thru the details. I then met with him a second time and walked thru the details of the project. The day of the project there were various issues. Much of what was promised by John was not transpiring. Actually it would have just simply gone undone, but I was diligent on monitoring the Job after a couple of dishonest interactions at the first phase of the job. John explained to his wife Judith that he did in fact discuss this with me various time including the day off when we all reviewed the details and literally walked it over. There was much tension between the two where Judith acknowledge that John did not communicate with her the details of the job and the material ordered would not be sufficient. Why should I suffer for their internal communication problems? The assistant working with the company also stated that I was being done a disservice and that they should make it right as I am the costumer. Long story short they left the job unfinished. John made promises that he will come and fix it the following day even shook my hand and made a speech about shaking someones hand and looking them in the eye. He did not show the following day. I wrote an extensive compliant. The response addressed some remedies but did not address all. After not agreeing to the remedies presented as they did not address the major issues the emails went back and forth with no resolve. Why would I accept remedies to have a job be still left uncompleted? They may argue that they presented solutions to the problems and I refused to have it done but the fact of the matter is that they were Dishonest, Deceitful, and left the job site unfinished. If I did not send my initial compliant they would not have even have further acknowledged me. Their main argument is that everything was done per the invoice but as they admitted the descriptions presented to me of what was in the invoice was said dishonestly. The outlandish part is that the owner stated that he did describe the job in the details that I stated and the other owner acknowledged it, but she simply out of greed and lack of business sense refuse to deliver. It would be one thing to say I was making this up but they all admit this was a terrible business practice but still refused to honor the customer.
DONT GET ROBBED BY JnJ Landscapers!!!! There is a reason they only have a few reviews on their website (which are the same few reviews from the other site listed). Again they may rebuttal this review, but email if you wants the facts. IT IS SIMPLY NOT WORTH THE POTENTIAL PROBLEMS. If my review is this extensive you definitely do not want to even chance this drama at your HOME. Look for more credible landscapers. I wish I did more diligent work and was not in the position of needing someone quickly to get my new backyard for my daughters party. Now it is just a sloppy job which I have to now hire someone else to fix and complete.
