- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been involved in make-up at some point, I used to watch my mom in the bathroom putting on make-up. I was always surprised to see the person who went in emerge and a new person come out. At the moment I was officially bitten by the bug. I later went on to work for Estee Lauder - Lenox counter in Atlanta, GA. It has been a great experience being able to work with some of the best names in cosmetics. About 4 years ago, I decided to go solo and branch out to open my own company. I now love being able to help women bring out their best face and show them how to put their best face forward!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do all types of make-up services. From large wedding parties to graduation photos. I have worked to help aspiring models get started with their portfolios. If make-up is involved, I love to participate!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always make sure to ask for what they specialize in and if they have photos of their work. Most professionals will take the time to have professional photos to showcase their work. Also know that just because a person gives you a cheap price it does not mean that they will do a good job.
