My FIRST time using Thumbtack — “I’m officially hooked!” The process was simple & finding a photographer was even more simpler. I selected JBPhotography with less than 24hrs until our wedding day. My husband and I decided to have ours at the courthouse as our budget was set. After sending my request through Thumbtack, I was contacted personally via email address that I’d provided. He was very respectful, answered all of my questions and I was able to schedule my time for our shoot. I went with a random/select pose shoot (as I am not great with 1...2...3 shoot) whereas he was notified of our location and exact time of arrival allowed him to began shooting immediately after meeting face to face and shaking hands. (Apologizing quickly after arriving due to us running an hr late- he never left and was dedicated to his craft. We paid extra for his time as expected). Walking through out the court house- Everyone see us dressed to impress, we went through the application process/ceremony (legal steps) all while getting photographed along the way. “I believe we both felt special- not only for getting married to one another but for the experience of feeling very important — Can anyone say paparazzi.” After getting married and once exiting the building he ended with set-shots (instructed) — a few close ups, we shared hugs and kisses, and we we’re then complete. Payment was super easy as he had several ways he received and accepted payments. Very nice and easy! We received the pictures the same day! I was really shocked and excited; very pleased with the entire experience. I was able to use the photos with others I took prior to meeting our photographer and made a video to share the official news of our marriage— it was a hit! I can't say enough how much we loved our wedding pictures! He captured every moment perfectly! Tears of joy all over again when looking at them. Working with JB Photography was a seamless experience. I was the maid of honor in my sister’s wedding and we were crunched for time, so we ended up using Craigslist to find a local photographer who could take photos of her wedding ceremony and reception with short notice. JB was responsive, immediately scheduled a wedding consultation, and asked for examples of photos that displayed the look and feel she and her fiancé were going for. On the day of the wedding, JB arrived early with his wife to capture photos of the bridal party and groomsmen preparing for the ceremony, and stayed through the entire ceremony and reception, and even waited until the very end to catch photos of the bride and groom’s departure in their getaway car. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. It’s always great to support a quality black business in the Atlanta area. We will definitely be using JB Photography for future events, and highly recommend him to others!

I am very fair and professional when it comes to prices.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a consultation in person or over the phone. We discuss the purpose for the photos and the details of the event. We go through of a run down of my actions prior to the event and afterwards regarding time to get pictures back and also prices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training comes from experience in the field whether indoor and outdoors. I have shot couples, family, toddlers, and more.
