I reached out to Alexis two years ago to assist my son with making a transition from private school to public High School. I was not familiar with the public school curriculum and needed to confirm if there was an educational gap or not. Alexis conducted an assessment and quickly determined that there was approximately a two year gap. Although Alexis is well versed in several subjects my son's greatest need was math. She began working with him and we saw huge improvements in a short amount of time. She has worked with him for two years, improving his math grade from failing to a low B/high C. Alexis was the perfect tutor for my son. She is very patient, understanding, knowledgeable, professional, and successful in determining the learning style of her students to maximize results. Not only is Alexis my son's tutor she has become a part of our family. She's outstanding!!!!

It depends on what services are requested for the student.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to tutoring services, I administer a pre assessment to help me determine what strengths and weaknesses a student has in the request subject. Based off the assessment, I customized lessons to fit the particular needs of the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Elementary Education and a MS in Guidance and Counseling. I have a dual certificate in Georgia for P-5 Early Childhood Education and P-12 in Guidance and Counseling.
