Wedding Officiant

Introduction: Most ministers only do weddings for their own congregation. I use my credentials as a minister to reach out to couples in the early stage of their new family by offering to do weddings for people I do not know. I charge $200 to show up and be the officiant who performs the ceremony and signs the marriage certificate. I wear a high-end formal black robe with a white stole. Other colors are available upon request. I am physically fit and articulate. My wife is a semi-professional photographer and could photograph the wedding if you like. I do have a website, and I have a bio. The most common question I receive is if my services have to be uniquely Presbyterian. No. I served as an army chaplain and can modify my service as the couple desires. I am very interfaith aware and flexible. As long as the worship service is not counter to my faith, I will oblige. I do not officiate for same-sex weddings. I can show up today and do the wedding, if my schedule is open. Example: If you planned on getting married one day, but now your partner is getting shipped overseas for a military tour or prolonged visit, and you want to get married before they leave, I will do the wedding. If grandma is sick and you wanted her part of the wedding, I will come to the hospitable room and perform the ceremony. If you are tired of just "living together" and want to tie the knot, I am your guy. What do I believe? I believe that marriage is a gift from God to every civilization around the world. Governments pass laws regarding marriage, not the church. I believe marriage is in the Lord. I will not be able to serve if the couple have radically different faiths. I would hope, and will strongly encourage, some sort of marriage counselling before, or later, to set the marriage on the right track. Marriage counselling is at the discretion of the couple. So I put myself out there as a servant of Christ, to help you take the next step, under God, that your relationship deserves. Marriage is God's gift.
