Recently we accidentally broke the stem that goes into the knob for our cooktop. We contacted VK Appliances and they were very responsive and quickly accepted to fix the issue for us. The technician that came out was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He was able to fix the issue fairly quickly. The only concerns I have is pricing. This industry of fixing appliances, HVAC, washer, dryers etc., its an unregulated industry. Companies can charge whatever they want, mark up materials so much higher than they cost. At times as consumers we have to repair our appliances but I thought what they charged was ridiculously high!!! And that's because this industry is not regulated!! I would probably used them again, but I would probably also shop around more comparing prices.... The fixing of the knob stem didn't justify the price charged.

From initial contact with their business to when they arrived to my home they were more than accommodating. We had a washer and dryer installed. They carried it 3 stories upstairs which was no easy task but they had the right equipment and crew to handle the job. We had a previous company drop our washer down the stairs and when installed found it had additional issues in which they repaired and had our washer running. Extremely nice people and will use them for future appliance repairs/ installations in the future. Thank you!

My washer broke and I put the project on Thumbtack. VK Appliance Repair responded immediately (8 AM). They came and checked it out 3 hours later (11 AM). They diagnosed the problem but did not have the part. They went and got the part, came back, and had the washer fixed by 1 PM. Highly recommended.

Jacob did an excellent job assessing the issue with my Samsung dryer. He inspected everything and performed much needed maintenance. I really appreciated that he took time to help me learn more about how the dryer works. I will definitely contact VK for my future appliance repairs and maintenance.
