Vinny came out and provided a free estimate and I was not expecting to see how much damage the rodents cause, wood rats to possums were messing up my hvac system and insulation in the attic and entering through the crawlspace. He took care of the job and was very proficient

Vinny helped us evict several squirrels that had moved into our attic. He made several trips to our home to clear the traps and ultimately repair the entry point. Vinny was friendly, responsive, and offered a great service for the cost. We highly recommend him.

When we first hired Vinny, he seemed extremely knowledgeable and reliable. We paid for rodent proofing our rental house and 1 yr warranty, this was roughly 4 months ago. We have continued to have multiple rats and mice come through and although he does come seldomly to check on the traps it simply is not working. He sealed visible entry points and set traps but I think we are not getting anywhere with our problem. Whatever our problem is cannot be handled by Vinny. We don’t recommend him for complex situations. We will be hiring a second company and hope to have better luck.

Hi this, is Vinny from Critter Stoppers. After reading this review, I am disappointed in hearing how I am not doing my job. This is not true. Critter Stoppers strides on taking care of our customers. We rodent proofed this apt building about 5 months ago for rats and squirrels. We have been out to this property multicable times including holidays tackling this rodent problem (Rats) Being we are the second company to take on this project. We removed approximately 8 to 9 rats. The front of the building basement Apts are below ground level. This building is located in Decatur and was built in the 50's with being an old building you have settlement and pipes going underground through the foundation wall which has finished walls in front it. Rats only need about the size of a quarter to squeeze through the foundation wall and enter the property. If anyone has dealt with rats in the past, then you know there is no easy fix and one size fits all. We have been doing everything possible to stop the rats from entering the premises. We can only seal entry points that are visible. We have been doing our due diligence to resolve this problem. Our guarantee covers if there are any problems we will return and set traps to remove the rats and come back to check them. Seal any openings that are visible. Unfortunately, in the case of this old structures it is not visible to rip out walls and dig the front outside foundation wall down to the footing to expose the foundation wall. Cement front patio is in the front of the building and multicable lines from the street are going through the wall. I know dealing with tenants can be frustrating for them and everyone involved, some time in situations like this you need a little patience. I have been in the pest control industry since the late 70ds. I also was just out with the owner on weds 4/10/24 looking for other venerable areas. Ill ck in with updates.

unfortunately each job is different. we deal with many types of rodents and willife. Repair work also ranges from different types of rodents. Also different types of structures . please contact us to go over your residential or commercial properties. Discounts to seniors, military, police officers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we speak to a customer on the phone to get some kind of an idea of what type of rodent or wildlife we are dealing with. Most of the time we can make suggest to the customer what we can do to solve the problems also in some cases we might be able to walk them through the problem. In most cases, we can quote a price over the phone. for trapping and removal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the pest control industry for over 40 yrs started working for an exterminating company when I was 17 also went to Farmingdale college trade school at night for Pest Control back in the 80s
