When looking for a photographer I had very high expectations. I'm very big in to photography and having photographers who were very good at just capturing the moment was a big deal to me. I came across the Alvarado's web site while googling photographers in my area, I instantly fell in love with their portfolio. They were the first I looked at so I explored onto other photographers web sites to see what else was out there, but came back to theirs because really no one else even came class to comparing to their talent. I was in contact with Jess the whole time and she was always prompt at getting back to me, and so kind. My wedding day came and they were there to capture every moment from me getting ready all the way to the end of the reception, they captured the moments so well! The editing of the photos and the angles they used where outstanding! Their creativity and detail was amazing! they exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend them to everyone.

We used Alvarado Photography for our family photos and are so pleased with our photographs. I found Alvarado Photography online, and was quickly impressed with their portfolio, professionalism, and their quick response to my inquiry. Prior to our photo shoot, I was a little apprehensive because our toddler can be a bit camera shy, and I wasnt sure what kind of photos we would end up with. Our son was immediately comfortable with Jess and John and they were able to capture several awesome shots. They took their time when photographing our family and let our son take breaks when he needed it without putting pressure on us to stay on schedule. Our experience was enjoyable and we love our pictures! We definitely recommend Alvarado Photography and look forward to using them for our future photo needs!

Alvarado Photography in a word is...INCREDIBLE! I researched different photographers throughout Oahu, and Alvarado had the best value for our money. They're communication was very prompt throughout the time leading up to, during and even after our session. John and Jess helped us pick a spot with a breath-taking view for our family shoot and were able to relate to our children (ages 8 and 5) very well....(did I mention they even brought toys to entertain the kids while my husband and I were getting our picture taken???) My expectations were pretty high for this "once in a lifetime" shoot, and AP's services FAR EXCEEDED them all!! They were prepared for everything! I would recommend them to EVERYONE and ANYONE looking for a photographer!!!

Alvarado Photography did a great job on our engagement and wedding photos. They were easy to work with and get along with. They answered all of our questions in a timely manner and addressed all of our concerns prior to the big day. Once the day came, they were very helpful by keeping things moving according to the schedule. They took some very creative shots and did a great job of capturing the memorable moments. Several of our guests had nice things to say about their overall demeanor and efficiency. They had an assistant join them who took some amazing photos as well. They also provided us with a great value something that was important to us since we were on a tight budget. If you are looking for a professional photographer for a reasonable price for your wedding, Alvarado wont disappoint!

After much searching online for a good photographer, I stumbled upon Jess and John Rey s website, Alvarado Photography. I immediately fell in love with their perspective on their clients. They fully utilized the natural lighting and had fun/quirky poses in multiple locations. I quickly called to further discuss the details. The were extremely prompt in getting back to me via phone after I had left a message. The day of the session was absolutely awesome! Our chosen location was at Ko Olina at sunset. It was gorgeous! They were very professional, but fun at the same time. They were able to snap many candid moments, which happen to be some of my favorites in our set. Overall, we had a really great experience with Alvarado Photography. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer who can truly capture the moment without forcing it.
