I developed and sell the Real Color Wheel. Painting on location here on Maui for thirty years found the opposition colors that darken shadow colors. This color wheel also matches the way the elements of color's crystals get darker.
I have a 52" Roland inkjet printer, for which I developed the world's only permanent transparent yellow ink. Now I print my color wheel and paintings using less black ink because of this transparent yellow ink.

Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I print Giclees of customers images and paint locations here on Maui for Residents and visitors. They both take about a week to complete.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Every painting and the Real Color Wheel is original.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I paint on location all the time, either in oil, pastels, acrylics or watercolors. I love them all. Pre-selling a location is added gravy. I can paint anything from a portrait to your house, but not from photographs, I never use them.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. In the 1990's, when I had a gallery, I sold more original artwork than anyone in Hawaii. That was a cover story for Sketchpad in the Maui News.

I just learned today that the San Francisco Academy of Art University is teaching my color wheel in it's Color Theory Program. It all started in 2002 with the International Middle School of Geneva, Switzerland. Western Kentucky University was the first U.S. university to support, commend and subscribe to the Real Color Wheel.
2-24-08, In the past thirty days Northern Arizona University, BYU, Glenn Carleton College, Pittsford Sutherland High School, Imperial College London, University of New South Wales, Kennesaw State University, York College of The City University of New York, Lausanne Collegiate School and United Arab Emirates University have requested the Real Color Wheel course or color wheel.
All my commissioned paintings use this color wheel, therefore it's oppositions are correct and I don't need black pigment.
