Ted Surman helps you to develop a self-practice, which is personalized and designed to meet your individual needs. The daily practice needs to be achievable and to compliment your existing lifestyle. There are many reasons why a student may wish to have a personal practice.

Ayurveda: The Yoga Awareness Ayurveda programs are designed for health-conscious people to achieve positive and total health using the methods of Yoga and Ayurveda. This is a holistic program tailor-made to increase every individual's quality of life. The goal for Yoga and Ayurveda is to reveal our natural state of happiness and contentment by reducing our suffering. These ancient teachings come from the Vedas (5,000 years B.C.E), and, like brother and sister, are inseparable.
Ted Surman is a certified Yoga and Ayurveda teacher. Ted is from New Zealand and is the founder of Yoga Awareness. Since 1997, he has studied with Gary Kraftsow at the American Viniyoga Institute and at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram.
Ted travels each year to Chennai, India for ongoing studies with his teachers at Yoga Raksanam. He also studies and practices with a doctor of Ayurveda at Pathway Health Center.
