I've known Carlos The DJ, now for years. He DJ'd for my daughter's wedding back in 2009. I've also been to many events that he was the DJ for and always had a great time and enjoyed his music choices. Love how organized and detail oriented he is and if we had to do it again, we would not have hired the wedding coordinators that we had for my daughter's wedding and we would have definitely put everything totally in his hands.
Not only does Carlos provide DJ services, but he also provides full-service wedding planner services! The man is so knowledgeable and keeps on top of all the technology, has the best equipment and also has an incredible extensive collection of music! He's so great at what he does that you can't help but having that feeling of being in the right hands and you won't have ever worry about him being a diva and just doing his own thing! Everything he does for you revolves around your requests and instructions! And if you're not sure what instructions to give or what requests to make, it's ok and don't worry....he'll have lots of suggestions for you and won't let you down!
I'm old skool and I truly believe that you can always judge how well of a job someone will do by how much they love what they're doing....and it's obvious Carlos totally enjoys what he does because he will have a smile on his face, a sparkle in his eyes and his feet will be dancing through-out your entire event!

We found Carlos online and chose him for our wedding due to excellent reviews previously posted. We cold not have been more happy with his work. Planning a destination wedding can be challenging and he made us feel so comfortable and completely confident in his work. He was always prompt in responding to emails and always provided great advice and input to the many questions we had. We had an initial meeting in January and he impressed me so much and I felt completely confident in him after just one meeting. He provided worksheets to help us decide on songs for different parts of our wedding and created an awesome timeline. His website is very easy to use. An added bonus was that he was familiar with our wedding venue and had a lot of great insight into how to make the day flow well. Day of he did an amazing job at our ceremony and reception. The music was exactly what we asked for and all of our guests had an amazing time. He is also extremely personable and interacted well with our guests, and was extremely funny. Carlos kept the party going all night long and our guests commented on how amazing he was. All in all I would highly recommend him to anyone and would definitely use his services again. He runs a great business, knows what he's doing, and has great customer service. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would.

This event wasn't for a wedding but for a 90th Birthday party. Carlos did great. We had a band and Carlos and they were both able to work together so well. Since the crowd ranged from 1 years old to 90 years old the music selection had to be very eclectic. Carlos worked well with us. He sends a planning/organizing guide to get a feel for the event and the type of music you would like. Due to the chaos of the event I didn't even have time to fill it out for him (fail on my part!) but he was able to get a feel of the crowd and went wing it from there and it was perfect. I had him from 6-10pm but being that the crowd was a bit older everyone trickled out around 8:45-9pm except for the small little kids and their parents but Carlos stayed and continued to play even though there wasn't a huge crowd to play for. It was great and I REALLY appreciated his services. I recommend him fully and he's worth every penny. Thanks again!

I highly recommend East Coast Productions to DJ ANY event. Carlos was amazing! From his prompt email responses to filling in as my MC for the reception, he was great. I initially scheduled my wedding for 3:30 on a weekday in Hawaii, an hour from where we were staying. I am from Maryland, so I had no idea about the traffic in Hawaii at that time of the day. Carlos suggested that I change my wedding time to avoid the traffic. Out of all of the people helping me put together this wedding, nobody else helped me out like Carlos. He also showed up at the reception site early the morning of my wedding to set up for the reception. He then travelled an hour away to set up for the wedding ceremony. After the wedding, he travelled back to the reception. We were having such a fun time at the reception that we offered to pay extra to have Carlos stay and play longer for us. If you are in need of a DJ and are in Hawaii (Oahu), you will not be disappointed with East Coast Productions.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Carlos be a part of our wedding last weekend. He assumed two roles for our wedding celebration, both as the DJ and MC. I would highly recommend having Carlos do both of these tasks for you. He was an amazing MC and kept the celebration going without any awkward pauses or dull moments. His experience was very evident in how he interacted with the audience and in his supportive and encouraging demeanor.
Before the wedding, Carlos was simply excellent both personally and professionally. While preparing for the wedding, all communication was immediate, polite, and reflected a willingness to cooperate and support whatever was necessary to execute a memorable celebration. He would suggest a program format and would accommodate our song choices wherever a specific song was indicated. He also took our wedding time schedule into consideration and willingly set up his equipment and offered his music way before his scheduled time.
When Carlos arrived at the venue, he was well dressed and gently rejected our offer to join us for dinner. He reasoned that he had a job to do and that he had already prepped by having his dinner beforehand. Then it was time for the grand entrance of the bridal party and his voice boomed with enthusiasm and confidence. He guided the evening from the beginning to the end per the wedding schedule and accommodated the speakers and the dancing guests however he could.
We valued and welcomed his work ethic and personal and professional conduct and would consider hiring him again in a heartbeat. Heartfelt appreciation Carlos!
