FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to learn how to fix a problem.I am intrigued with anatomy and physiology and enjoy learning muscle manipulation and techniques to relax the body.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
#1 thing- Make sure they are Licensed and properly schooled. Therapist that are not properly qualified and do not know what they are doing can seriously injure a person. There is important knowledge that every schooled Licensed Therapist must know. #2- find out what types of modalities they know. See if its what YOU are looking for. Every person's needs and preferences are different, Its important to express to your therapist what YOU are looking for or need. If the therapist has a wider range of modality styles they would be able to provide various techniques and see what is good for YOU because ultimately customer satisfaction is all that matters.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It is important to take care of yourself and our bodies. Some people come in only when something is has already gone wrong with their body sore, but by the time that happens, you have waited too long. It is a prolonged time of build up and neglect that can cause the body to ache. People who get maintenance once or twice a month do not experience this quite as often. When muscles and tissue become too tight they pull on the joints, which leads to bigger problems down the road along with build up of metabolites and toxins. As we become older the body does not heal as quickly so it is important to preserve and maintain your health as much as possible. Massage improves health, circulation, reduces stress and tension, and minimize build up and pain problems.
