Introduction: We are a private, low-key, full-service recording studio, specializing in tracking, mixing, and mastering of all genres of music with over 15 years of experience. We are located in Mesquite, TX, 10 minutes east of downtown Dallas. We are currently running Logic Pro 9 and Pro Tools. We offer various rates, including 5-hour blocks for $175, 10-hour blocks for $300, and 40-hour blocks for $1000. We also offer per song and project rates. Working with Rob was the most perfect experience that Insinnerator could have asked for. He recorded, mixed, and mastered both of our releases, and did an amazing job on both of them. The great thing about Rob is that he wants to GIVE you the best experience you can have, and he wants to improve his own work. Before we recorded our new EP, he told us that this was going to sonically blow our first effort out of the water, and he wasn't lying. Rob's also great at listening and understanding what you want in your music. If you're like us, and want a classic, organic production, Rob will give you that. But if you're more into modern, really clean production, he also can and will do that. Rob will also push you and work with you to get better. He will suggest taking a short break in order to regain your confidence, and it really works. He's not in this just to make money and press a button, he's fully interested in the projects that are brought to him, and that is what we were looking for before we picked Rob. He is such a pleasure to work with, and we truly do look forward to working with him on our third release. Very affordable, very fair, very professional, and very fun. He is a great choice to go with!

Awesome attention to detail and flawless results. I was in the studio for 30 minutes and we were able to record a single song demo without hiccups. Rob is an expert and I will be using his studio in the future!

I have been recording with Rob at HSD for more than 10 years and absolutely love this guy! When I'm recording, I feel like we're a team and his vision is just the same as mine. The studio has a very comfortable feel and the vibe is always great. Whether you are recording a whole project or just a demo, I highly recommend Rob. I always leave with bangers!

We in SILVERTONGUEDEVIL recorded our album Pornographic Scripture at HSD Studio in the late summer of 2011, and it was a great experience. We'd worked at other studios before recording demos, some of them very high dollar, but we got the best product out of Rob. Not only did he do what we asked of him, but he had good ideas of his own, and that's a hard combination to come by. Money is always an issue for a band, but the amount we spent recording our album was money well spent, because we got a professional product we are proud of. Highly recommended.
