I have had the opportunity to work with Jody on several occasions, and each time the experience has been an absolute delight. Not only is Jody a talented writer who understands her niche, she is also a completely buttoned-down professional, who is always organized and on time. I look forward to working with Jody again.

I have worked with Jody for over a year now - her writing is solid and complete, she is always on time, and is a pleasure to work with. Communication is easy, she responds quickly to requests and is not hesitant about asking for clarification or additional responsibilities.

A. Do a bit of research on the writer you hire. Look at not only their personal work, but also work they have done for other sources. Request a media kit or portfolio, as well as their social technology reach. Know the "voice" you want your article written in; is it a "story" piece or a "tips and tricks" article?
A. Strong SEO (search engine optimization) is important, but don't let it get in the way of a well written article. While a few key words are fine, a long series of words can sound unnatural.
A. Always ask to see a media kit or portfolio. This should answer any question you have including article links, statistics, testimonials and pricing.
