JENCAD Services—turning dreams into 3D SolidWorks CAD files.
I have been using SolidWorks since 1997, and have earned my CSWP certificate (certified SolidWorks professional). I also am the president of the Central Iowa SolidWorks User Group.
I started out my career as a tool maker building close-tolerance molds for injection molded plastic parts. I have 10 years of experience working with large, hollow, rotationally molded plastic parts that you may have seen if you have ever been to a large amusement park in Florida or California.
I have also worked with sheet metal parts and the progressive dies to make them. My most prominent sheet metal component I designed was the fuel filter for the Dodge Viper.
If you need DWG files converted to PDF, a drawing of a deck for an addition to your house, an idea that you want documented for a patent, I will be glad to give you a helping hand.
Provide me with as many details as you can, and I will fill in the blanks. If you need someone who knows how mechanical things work, please give me a chance to design it for you.
Thank you for considering me for your next design opportunity!
A. Make sure that the provider you hire has a valid copy of the software being used to do your work. Pirating software is illegal. Ask for references and verify that customers are satisfied with services provided. Have as much information as possible to make sure the design is completed as you expect, communication is the key to successful results. Don't pursue a provider to work for you, unless intend to pay for the services provided. Trust is a must for all involved!
A. Are you able to complete my project on time?
Is SolidWorks a CAD system used by many manufacturers?
Will I be able to view the work you do for me if I do not own SolidWorks?
Can you help me find suppliers that can manufacture this for me when the design potion is completed?
