Introduction: I have a passion when it comes to artwork, and making sure things don't have errors like typos. That's the worst possible scenario is paying for prints that have a typo in it and any typo is a major typo. Currently I am on break with school. It starts back in the fall, so I am just looking for employment that works around my school as I continue to finish my Web Design Diploma.

Delia did a logo design project for an advisory group that helps to gather input and make suggestions on policy for the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped at the Iowa Department for the Blind. She came to the department, got a feel for the job, and went home to work on ideas. We were pleased that she sent back so many comps, and worked with the Library Consumer Advisory Committee to zero in on the best idea for the situation. She demonstrated good communication skills during this selection process as most of this group is visually impaired. After an idea was selected she was willing to refine and revise the rendition until it was right . The LCAC was pleased with the final logo and uses it on their communications. It was a pleasure working with her.

I have worked with Delia Welch on a variety of projects over the last eight years. These include, but not limited to, newsletters for a fellowship organisation, flyers for various groups, computer help, and all types of help for graphic design. She has met every deadline, often pushing me to step up my game. She has a great attention to detail that includes making sure everything is included with no extra fluff. She will not compromise industry principles for short term gain. Delia always gets what I request finished even when I am late getting her the information.

Tom D. is one of my "at the last minute" wants this done tomorrow guy. He is clear about the "vision" is his head, he just seems to put it off until the last minute because he is a busy guy and he has other stressful priorities every day to attend to. I just quickly take what he tells me and whip it up in no time. I ask another person if I have time to double check it/proofing errors, and send it on it's way. He makes it clear what he needs done, and I do my best to accommodate him and his needs. We seem to work well as a team and get the job done. Tom D. is also great to work with and I enjoy his company.

Delia has been my customer for two years. She has been very pleasant and easy to work with. Delia completes all her requirements in a timely manner. She has brought in some of her work and it just amazes me that somebody can do this kind of art. Delia has a personality to match. She is a wonderful person with an amazing artistic ability.

I will create one final change for free, then after that I will charge the original $10.00/hr.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently I am taking classes to earn a Web Design Diploma, just so I can keep up with the trends that seem to head toward the Graphic Design field. I am also taking classes to further my education with photography.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Currently still going to school but my goal is to find a Graphic Design Job or anything art related.
