Introduction: I adore mountain and intimate weddings. If you envision your wedding day surrounded by nature, getting your dress a little dirty, having a drink on top of a mountain...I might be your gal. I travel worldwide and am located in Idaho.....right next to the Grand Tetons! Each season comes with 75-100 edited, full size images for you to print and share on socials. Travel fee is included up to 100 miles from Idaho Falls.

Fox Feathers is AMAZING. She captured our relationship perfectly while making us feel comfortable the whole time. She had great ideas and made our engagements and wedding day special. Her editing style was exactly what we were looking for and we couldn’t recommend a better photographer!

Heather was awesome. She brought her partner along as an assistant. They both worked so hard for our elopement. Heather can climb just about anywhere, so if you want a mountain top wedding, she can make it happen. The whole day was just so amazing and Heather and her partner were such a huge part of the magic. She knows the best locations and is up for any challenge. Her rates are so reasonable in contrast to the other photographers in the area. We wouldn’t be able to afford our pictures if we used someone else. She didn’t really have a time limit for us either which was a nice no pressure perk. Her equipment is really nice and she has a backup camera in case of loss. The package she sent was incredible and thoughtfully designed. My only complaint was the processing time for our pictures, but she did take thousands of pictures and this is during covid. She is a mother as well so I totally get it. All in all, 0 regrets and would do again in a heartbeat. If you are looking, go with heather. You will not be disappointed. Just keep in mind, the finished product might take a little longer than expected, but well worth the wait.

Heather is the best! She is so fun to hang with on top of being out of this world talented. She has captured all my favorite photos of my family. Heather is great with kids and really captures each personality in her work. Heather has a great eye and I always consult her on outfits and what I’m envisioning. She always delivers my vision or even better!! On top of being an amazing human being her work speaks for her talent and skills. Couldn’t recommend her enough you won’t be disappointed!!

I found Heather a few years ago and my only regret is that I didn’t find her sooner. Heather isn’t the photographer you hire for one off life events. Heather IS the photographer you hire for ALL your life events. She’s so incredibly talented, makes even the most uncomfortable camera shy folx feel confident. Great communication, high quality photography and the best vibes ever. I’ll never hire anyone else.

Heather was amazing to work with. I didn’t get a chance to meet her until the day of my wedding, but she immediately felt like a good friend. We are a “go with the flow” type of couple, and Heather couldn’t have meshed with our “wedding vibe” better. Our plans changed several times throughout the day and she was accommodating, flexible, fun, and relaxed through it all. She just hopped on the wedding day roller coaster, smile on her face, and was fully committed to riding out the fun with us from beginning to end. She was honestly just a beautiful person to spend the day with and I look forward to having her capture more of our moments in the future!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A 30% non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve your wedding date. The remainder of the balance due is required 2 weeks before the wedding date. There is nothing I like less than asking a new couple for payment on their wedding day....no fun for anyone!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you like my work, we will schedule a Zoom call to meet up and go over details and give us both a chance to get to know each other. I think it's extremely important to vibe well for the best possible images. This also gives you a chance to ask me any questions!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I typically work with customers looking for an intimate mountain or beach wedding. I prefer small weddings to large ones.
