A. Legacy Landscapes offers all phases of Lawn Maintenance & Landscape Installations. Water features, landscape lighting, pavers and such are great ways to add value to your home as well as ad beauty

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When considering a company to provide any service I look at several things. One how much experience do they really have. Generally the "better the price" the lower the experience you are hiring. There are many insights to the construction trades that come with experience. Its not as easy as throwing a mower in your truck and some sprinkler heads and calling yourself a landscaper. This experience can save you lots of time and headaches. I can not even begin to tell you how many times I have been hired to repair previous contractors mistakes. Sometimes costing hundreds even thousands of dollars.

A. I know there are alot of landscapers and it's difficult to decide on one. But there's an obvious reason for you to choose my company. While we landscapers mostly run the same kind of equipment and use the same kind of mulches, there are two things Legacy Landscapes offers that no one else in town can.

A. Are you Licensed? Yes we are fully licensed in the state of idaho.
Are you insured? Yes we carry over 2million in liability insurance.
Is work guaranteed? Yes all plant material come with a one year warranty, sprinklers come with a 4 year warranty.
Are estimates free? Yes
Are custom landscape designs offered? Yes depending on the scope of work desired most designs are free when you choose Legacy landscapes to do the install.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I began my career at an early age working for my fathers landscape company. Needless to say he was a demanding boss, it was great. I have always enjoyed working outdoors so I eventually started my own company in Reno Nevada. Before my wife & I decided to marry we wanted to find a great place to move to and we found Boise. We started Legacy Landscapes to continue the tradition of providing excellent service at affordable rates. We specialize in Backyard Renovations. Tired of looking at the same thing. I enjoy meeting new people and designing a custom landscape plan for their personal needs. I feel too many company's don't listen to what the customer wants.
Landscape design and installation is an art. I have enjoyed watching landscapes and healing gardens I installed grow into well enjoyed outdoor spaces.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. With the environment being the focus of the future the Green Industry has always been in the forefront when it come to enhancing our environment. There has been many advancements in how we irrigate our landscapes. from smart timers that use up to date weather information to water your landscape, or moisture sensors that allow the timer to water only when it needs it reducing wasted resources. It is exciting to see the new changes, and teach clients about these new technologies, and save them some money along the way
