I am a professional makeup artist with 30 yrs experience in beauty and special effects makeup. I spent 10 years working in film and television in Hollywood. I have worked with Harrison Ford, Scott Glenn, Helen Hunt, Debra Harry among others.

Whether you're a Hollywood star or a bride on her big day, I treat everyone to exceptional customer service. I use Joe Blasco professional cosmetics which are specifically designed for color correction, and unique lighting conditions for a flawless finish and beautiful result. I will travel to locations and have an extensive kit so that I'm prepared for all situations. I work by appointment only, and book up quickly.

I got a chance to use Christl's professional services when she did the makeup for my (then) fiancee' at our wedding. Christl was top-notch professional beginning to end, always one-step ahead, was calm, cool and collected throughout the entire morning prior the even, then through the wedding till after all the touchups were needed for the ceremony and photos.
I hope to never use Christl's services for a wedding again but only because she made a stunningly beautiful woman even more lovely and made it an event to last a lifetime with her artistry.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I still do mostly commercial shoots, but I also do special occasions, weddings, teen makeup party's, and makeovers.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask if they will travel to location, ask to see a portfolio. Set up a consultation to see if you are comfortable with the look they can create for you. See what forms of payment they take and what kind of products they use. Do they suggest a specific skin care routine prior to the appointment.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. "Do you come to me or do I have to come to you?" It all depends on the situation and what works better for you as the client.
"Can you cover my skin imperfections?" I use Joe Blasco professional makeup which is specifically made to correct imperfections in the skin and create a flawless base.
"Do you also do special effects makeup?" Yes I can do anything from Horror, to old age, fantasy and burn effects.
