Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. If you are in the market for custom photography I strongly suggest checking out the company's website and galleries and choosing your photographer based on what you see there so you are on the same page style wise and know what to expect.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Anybody can take a picture, but not everyone is a professional photographer or will have the same vision as you. Again it's important to check out a photog's work to be sure they not only know what they are doing, but that their style will fit in with your own. Pictures don't have to be the stiff, boring portraits you typically see, and they don't have to have cheesy props and backgrounds either. They can be amazing works of art that truly capture the essence of you and your loved ones, and if you find a photographer that can give you that it is worth the investment.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. In order to find the best photographer for you, it is important to know their work. It is also important to be aware of their policies, what to expect from a session, what they offer for products, and to ask any other questions that you may have before going into a session.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Clients should have in mind what type of session they want, an idea of what they would like out of the session as far as poses and products, and it always helps to have ideas on things like location from the start. Part of the fun though is planning your session and tailoring it to what you have in your vision.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. My family is the reason I got into photography in the first place. I wanted to document all the special moments of my children's lives, and be able to share them not only with my own kids as they grow, but with their children as well someday.
Simply having all those moments documented wasn't enough though. It's great to look back on them from time to time, but it's even better to have some of them front and center on display in your home to enjoy every single day. Suddenly those priceless, but less than perfect snapshots aren't going to cut it! And this is why I emersed myself into the world of photography learning all I could to not only capture those images, but to do so in a way that they could be enjoyed by all and to last for many years to come.
I decided to go into business so I could offer that same service to other people.
