FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I determine how long a project will take me as I'm pretty fast and I give a price based on that.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find out what the customer is looking for, I ask a few questions about the project, and I try to give a ballpark figure based on the info given and if at that time the customer wants to move forward, we set up a date for an actual estimate. (It helps to save both the customer and myself time and money)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by one of the best trimmers in the business. The experience I've gained and my own knowledge has led me to do freelance work for high-end retail stores and a few theatres in Chicago. I tend to stick to residential trim carpentry nowadays as its what I love to do.
