My work stands out because in all of my services aromatherapy is complimentary. In addition, I am a licensed registered nurse, I am a board certified massage therapist, and I specialize in degenerative neurologic disorders including lupus, fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis as well as pre-natal massage. I am able to provide a relaxing and soothing massage, while also providing a trained clinical eye to identify potential clinical conditions that your traditional therapist may not be aware of or know, in which massage may be harmful. I also provide the traditional, I just need "me time" massage. I am the best of both worlds! I enjoy providing a healing environment that attempts to address my client's issues with practical and clinical knowledge. To have a patient tell me they've never felt better, or no one would "touch" them because of their condition, such as a rod in their back, etc. I feel blessed to be able to say "yes, I can help".

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a complete client history to include: -blood pressure and pulse -conditions (massage can be contraindicated in some conditions) -learn client goals and share what I do and how I work
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed, board certified massage therapist and licensed registered nurse. I have also had specialized clinical training during my tenure in the US Navy.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in the military, I suffered an injury in which I experienced massage for the first time. My interest was piqued then. However, it was when my mother developed fibromyalgia, I knew I wanted to make a difference. I also work in the field of neurology as an RN, and many of my patients suffer with MS. Traditional medicine is not the only way to address chronic pain, and thus my interest started there.
